The use of personalised pens to increase customer retention and general brand recognition is an increasingly popular marketing strategy. As such, demand for personalised pens increasingly, and manufacturers are developing more and more alternative styles, providing you with substantial choice to find the personalised pens that best matches your specific campaign needs.
Recycled Personalised Pens
Pressure is increasing on businesses to be environmentally-friendly, and purchasing is one area you can do this. You can now purchase recycled pens produced only from recycled material, recyclable pens, and biodegradable pens and pens made from sustainable materials. For example, so-called personalised eco pens are made from recycled paper, and many ranges of recyclable pens are made from ABS plastic, that used to made CD cases, mobile phones, etc. “Vegetal Pens” are made from corn-starch, or vegetable oil, that is reprocessed into a solid, plastic-like material suitable for printing and use as a pen.
Cheap Stick Pens
The bread and butter of promotional personalised pens are your stick pens, biros and ball pens like the Firenze and Flamenco branded pens. These are most well suited to conferences, tradeshows, exhibitions and other large conferencing events where promotional pens are a dime a dozen and you’re giving out as many pens as possible. When mailing your existing clientele on the other hand, you may wish to send slightly more upmarket pens to show you value their business.
Executive Pens and Corporate Pens
Executive pens are more expensive, and so might be reserved for highly valued customers and/or employees. Examples might be a Parker Vector Rollerball Pen, or a number of other Parker models, or Windsor pens. Metal Pens, as opposed to plastic, often feature a more attractive design, and tend to be engraved instead of printed with your personalised design. Executive gifts are often presented as boxed pens, typical for rosewood pens.
Flashy Pens
Some personalised pen distributors have attemted to design novel pens that are more likely to seize your attention, such as glow-in-the-dark pens, flashing lights, multi-coloured nibs, lasers pointers, logo projection, etc. Pens such as these are likely to be more effective for a short-term campaign, exploiting the novelty factor that will only keep your attention for a short period. As such, you lose the longer term brand recognition benefits to be had from less controversial options.
Personalised Pencils
It might be that a pencil is more suitable for your campaigns needs. There is a range of different types of personalised pencils available, for example natural wood pencils, pencils with or without erasers, triangular shaped pencils, push-nib pencils, and many more.
By selecting the most appropriate personalised pen for your promotional needs will ensure you make the most of your marketing campaign.
Foremost Products offer a range of personalised pens at wholesale prices, including eco pens and many other types and styles.
